How Can We Help People With AIDS?

Increasingly, in our life we are confronted with the problems of other people,

The AIDS epidemic has been going on for 40 years: it is believed that the first widespread cases of HIV infection occurred in the late 1970's. Although since HIV has been studied better than any virus in the world, millions of people continue to die from AIDS, and millions of people diagnosed with HIV infection. AIDS is among the five major disease-killers, which carry the greatest number of lives on our planet. From one year to the epidemic of the disease continues to grow, covering new areas. During these years have changed not only knowledge about HIV and AIDS, but also society's attitude towards this issue.

Of course, we all hope that soon the medicine will find drugs to cure AIDS, but for now we just have to wait and hope. Well, as you're waiting for those people who are already sick? What they hope for?

That's helping them and is our main task at present. This means that each of us must be aware of this and do everything that depends on it. Of course, we need help on spiritual vocation, not by force, physical. And if you agree with my point of view, let us define what is the ways to solve this problem?

1. Do not avoid the existence of this problem - do not pretend that you are not concerned and do not worry, they say, until this problem has not touched me - I had nothing to do with it.

2. Do not think bad about all the people who are sick with AIDS or HIV. Yes, some of them are drug addicts and got their disease from needles and syringes - perhaps they deserve such a fate, but a lot of them regret it when they learn of their diagnosis. And how many more people who contracted the disease simply due to a blood transfusion?

3. Do not be afraid to communicate with these people, ways of contracting HIV is very limited.

4. Do not feel sorry for these people, looking straight into their eyes - no one likes, such actions you are showing a man with his weakness. Of course, they should be sorry, but we must do it carefully so sorry perceived as a sign of attention or affection.

5. Do not make them a victim. Impress upon them that they are able to overcome their illness or leave with dignity.

6. Last, and perhaps most importantly, do not stay on the sidelines when you ask for help. Since you do not need millions, try to help those than can, it could be 10 rubles and a box of chocolates or any sign of attention to this problem on your part.

Remember that we are all people - there are reasonable and our minds makes us different from animals, so let's from time to time to make reasonable actions.
